Most live wedding painters work in acrylic due to it’s fast drying nature, but I paint in oil — a traditional fine art medium known for its depth, richness, and longevity.
Oil allows for softer blending, luminous color, and the level of detail needed to create a truly timeless piece. While the painting begins during your celebration, I continue refining it in the studio afterward.
The result is more than an event painting — it becomes an heirloom, preserving the beginning of your story for generations.

Fill out an inquiry form to connect.

I’ll communicate availability and provide more information. From here, everyone’s process looks a little different depending on preferences. Some couples want to have an in depth video call to discuss their vision and our fit, while others are ready to reserve their date right away. I’m flexible to make your booking experience fit your preferences.

Reserve your date. In this step we’ll sign the contract and the deposit will be paid to retain my services for your date. It’s at this point your date is secure!

I’ll reach out to you approximately 1 month prior to your wedding date to go over details. I find that a lot of couples change their vision for their painting during their planning process, so waiting to finalize details until 1 month prior to your date gives you as much flexibility as possible.

The wedding day! On your wedding day, I arrive 1-2 hours prior to the ceremony time to build the background. I continue to paint through the ceremony and reception. During this time I’ll be creating your masterpiece while entertaining guests.

After the wedding, I’ll bring the painting home to my stiudio to finish any touch ups. The painting will be completed and returned to you 6-8 weeks after the wedding date.

Fill out an inquiry form and I will reach out to you to confirm availability and answer any questions you might have. To secure your date, we'll sign a contract and a 50% retainer will need to be paid.

Yes! I am based out of Columbus, Ohio. However, I regularly travel through Ohio and beyond. Travel expenses will apply if the event is more than 50 miles from Columbus, Ohio.

I use professional grade oil to ensure superior quality. Paintings are completed on canvas.

I can add a frame to your piece for an additional fee.

Yes! My live event paintings are not limited to weddings.

My turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. This enables enough time to do adequate touch ups, to allow for drying of the oil paint, and to apply a varnishing prior to shipping.

Yes! Live guest portraits are offered on limited basis for special events.

If you cancel, the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable. This amount could be applied to a commission piece or to a possible rebooking of your event, depending on availability.
If for some reason I am unable to attend your event on our contracted date, 100% of your payment will be refunded.
